Where they were
Our client was buried in quotes and invoices every evening, taking time away from his family. The systems hadn't changed since the business was in its infancy — Word-and-Excel quoting, paper diaries and notes, some customers billed through different agents. Every estimate started from scratch, nothing was synchronised, and every off-the-shelf app they tried was complicated and wanted them to change how they worked.
What I did
We built a user-friendly system that fits around their preferred way of working — one app for quotes, invoices, accounts, contacts, the diary and automated payment reminders.
The difference
Nothing new to learn — just more time to spare. The admin that used to eat his evenings now takes minutes, and he runs the whole business from one place.
